The Pickled Bird Menagerie is and will always be about providing quality garments and accessories that are inclusive and sustainable. Founded in 2025, PBM owners Dill and Wren decided to establish this company because of their passion for creativity and helping others “come into their own.”
Wren has been sewing most of her adult life and also has a love for burlesque having been (and still is a burly-dancer…) “The Silent Siren.” Wren’s love for fashion and sewing blossomed into her own company (which you should totally check out), Siren’s Song Apparel.
Dill has also always had a passion for the Creative, bouncing around from hobby to hobby, and collecting skills. They tend to live by the idea that a Jack of all Trades is better than a master of one. They have worked as an escape room booth manager where they have accrued various skills and knowledge from those experiences that have led to their interest in accessories and accessibility. Dill also has a background in disability advocacy work and is also a disabled person themselves which they feel has been an asset to thinking outside of the box to accomplish various projects.

When you see our garments in person, or at festivals and cons, you will always see our double sided tag with both brands on the label. This signifies that every garment is made with love and intention and so you know exactly whose hands your piece has passed through.
